Mini Lemon Whip Dessert

I’m always a fan of mini desserts. Especially ones that pack a full flavor – I don’t need a large amount in order to satisfy my sweet tooth or top off a great meal. This is one of the reasons why I adore making my Lemon Whip Dessert. I use pre-made lemon curd from Trader Joe’s, but you are more than welcome to make your own, too. This dessert is also fun to swap out the lemon curd for other flavors – think chocolate pudding or raspberry preserves. Get creative!

You can easily make this recipe in parts, or make it ahead. I’ve listed the layers in groups below so you can easily identify stopping and starting points. You may want to make the whip up, then bake the graham crackers, and assemble later. This recipe is very flexible as far as make ahead goes – feel free to assemble them a few hours ahead. If you plan on enjoying this dessert a different day, hold off on assembling and store the whip separately in the refrigerator until you are ready to assemble.

  • 6 tablespoons lemon curd

  • Graham Cracker Crumble
  • 1 sleeve (9 whole crackers) graham crackers

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 6 tablespoons butter

  • Whipped Layer
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt.


  • Graham Cracker Crumble
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Crush graham crackers in a gallon-size ziplock bag and then place in a small bowl and set aside. Be sure to crush the crackers gently to avoid any holes in your bag.
  • Melt the butter and pour over the graham crackers. Stir to coat evenly.
  • Pour the graham crackers on a parchment lined, rimmed, baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Cool the graham crackers completely.
  • Whipped Layer
  • Place heavy cream in an electric mixer. Beat the cream on medium-high until it begins to thicken.
  • Once the cream has thickened, turn the mixer to low and slowly add in the powdered sugar and vanilla.
  • Beat until the whipped mixture forms stiff peaks and then turn off the electric mixer.
  • Gently fold in the greek yogurt using a spatula.
  • Assembling Instructions
  • Place whipped layer in a ziplock bag with the end cut off or a piping bag.
  • Layer the graham cracker crumble, whipped layer, and lemon curd in your dessert dishes of choice. Begin with the crumble, then layer in the whip, and finish the layer with a thin layer of lemon curd.
  • Repeat the layers as needed. Finish the top layer with either the crumble or the whipped layer and garnish with extra crumbles or fresh lemon zest.


  • Remember, larger your dishes, the less the servings will be.
